From July 15 till July 26, 2014 within the project “Be-Safe” the head and the senior professor of the department “Traffic management” S.A. Azemsha ans S.V. Skirkovsky correspondingly, the head of the department “Transportation and management of the automobile and public transport” А.А. Mikhalchenko visited the road safety Observatory of the National Technical University of Athens (http://nrso.ntua.gr/).
The main purpose of the visit was the training of Belarusian professors and development of a set of academic disciplines of the second stage of higher education of the profession related to road safety. They also visited the Greek companies which activities related to road safety.
During the classes the professors from BelSUT together with the leading Greek colleagues discussed the content of academic disciplines “Policy and Planning in Road Safety”, “Security Management of the road infrastructure”, the number of hours for these or those activities. In addition, for qualitative classes they exchanged the experience and accumulated the materials.
